
Zinc Network is a global communications agency that helps communities, brands and governments drive positive social change.
It’s not often that you get briefed to work out how a communications agency communicates — what an opportunity.
I was tasked with developing a brand new identity for Zinc Network, to communicate their sophisticated and methodical approach to communications, grounded in strategy and data, they needed a brand that would signify this to their clients.

The Zinc Network Identity
The agency’s name provided the inspiration for the icon at would sit at the heart of the brand.
I started by looking at the angles found in the counters of the Z & N and then developed a mark that while still dynamic felt systematised and methodical.

The icon was split into modular shapes which could combine and recombine, these shapes become distinctive representations of the brand and can flex into patterns and identifiers that help the brand sing.
